Jack Frampton's awards: Great British Business & Community Awards 2026 bronze winner
Jack Frampton won bronze for Apprentice of the Year and Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the Great British Business & Community Awards 2026. Here is what happened and what the awards mean.

In 2026 I was named a bronze winner at the Great British Business & Community Awards bronze winners in two categories: Apprentice of the Year and Young Entrepreneur of the Year. This post explains what the awards recognise, why they matter to me, and what I have learned from the journey that led to them.
The two awards
The first award, Apprentice of the Year, recognises the quality of my work and progression while training as a multi channel marketer. The second, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, recognises the side projects, events and independent work I have built around my apprenticeship, including the Taunton Apprenticeship Evening.

What the Apprentice of the Year award means
This award is about doing the job well while learning it. It covers the campaigns I have run at Queen's College, Taunton, the skills I have developed across design, content, SEO and analytics, and the way I have represented the apprenticeship route in Somerset schools.
It is not a certificate for turning up. It is recognition of real work delivered during an apprenticeship.
What the Young Entrepreneur award means
The Young Entrepreneur award recognises initiative outside a formal job description. For me, that means founding the Taunton Apprenticeship Evening, building a personal brand on LinkedIn, and running free mentoring for school leavers who want advice on apprenticeships.
It proves that you do not need to wait until you have finished training to start building something useful.
Why these awards matter for the apprenticeship message
When I speak in schools, the most common objection I hear is that apprenticeships are a second choice route. Awards like these show that apprenticeships can lead to national recognition, serious responsibility and a career that moves as fast as you do.
I did not win these awards by following the university path. I won them by doing the work, documenting it, and backing the route that suited me.
What is next
The awards are a milestone, not a finish line. I am continuing my marketing work at Queen's College, growing the Taunton Apprenticeship Evening, and expanding the free mentoring I offer to school leavers, parents and employers.
