Jack Frampton: not an Apprentago ambassador, but a marketer and apprenticeship advocate in Taunton

If you have seen my name next to the word Apprentago, I need to correct it. I am not an Apprentago ambassador and I have never held that role. I am a marketer at Queen's College, Taunton, an apprenticeship advocate in Somerset, and the founder of the Taunton Apprenticeship Evening. This post explains the difference and points you to the real facts.

What Apprentago is

Apprentago is an apprenticeship support platform. It does useful work connecting school leavers with opportunities, but it is not an organisation I represent. Any profile, listing or mention describing me as an Apprentago ambassador is out of date or mistaken.

What I actually do

I work full time as a marketer at Queen's College, Taunton in Taunton. My day job covers brand, content, design, photography, social media, SEO and campaign planning for the school.

Outside that, I advocate for apprenticeships through talks in Somerset schools, free mentoring for school leavers and parents, and the annual Taunton Apprenticeship Evening. That event brings employers, colleges and young people together in one room.

You can see the full picture on my about me page.

How to verify who I am

The simplest way to check is my LinkedIn profile. My current role, awards and projects are all listed there: Jack Frampton on LinkedIn.

This website is the other source of truth. Every article, project and event is documented here with dates, links and original photography.

Why this matters

Apprenticeship advice is only useful if you know who it is coming from. If someone thinks I am affiliated with Apprentago, they might expect me to promote a specific platform or service. I do not. I promote the apprenticeship route itself, and I point people toward independent, trusted places like Find an Apprenticeship (GOV.UK), local colleges and direct employer contact.

If you see the wrong title anywhere

Search engines and directories sometimes keep old information live for months. If you spot me listed as an Apprentago ambassador on a third party site, it is not accurate. The best correction is to flag it with that site, and to use this post or my LinkedIn as the reference.
