I have been named a finalist for Excellence Through Teamwork at the 2026 Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards, organised by the Sedgemoor Chamber of Commerce. It recognises the collaborative work behind the campaigns, events and content I help deliver in Somerset.
Recognised for excellence through teamwork
Marketing is never a one-person result. Every successful campaign depends on colleagues sharing ideas, expertise and responsibility. Being named a finalist in this category recognises that collective approach and the part I play within it.
The winner will be announced live at the awards on 20 November 2026.
Teamwork at Queen's College, Taunton
At Queen's College, Taunton, I work across departments to turn ideas into campaigns, events, photography, video, printed materials and digital content. The best outcomes come from understanding what colleagues need, combining different skills and keeping everyone moving towards the same goal.
Collaboration beyond the day job
The Taunton Apprenticeship Evening also depends on teamwork. Employers, colleges, schools and volunteers come together to give young people direct access to apprenticeship opportunities and honest advice.
The event is a clear example of what can happen when local organisations share a purpose rather than working separately.
Part of a strong year of recognition
I have also been named a Rising Star finalist at the same Sedgemoor awards and won silver for Apprentice of the Year at the Great British Business & Community Awards in Marlow.
