Rising Star finalist: Jack Frampton at the Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards 2026

I have been named a finalist in the Rising Star category at the 2026 Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards, organised by the Sedgemoor Chamber of Commerce. The recognition follows my work in marketing, apprenticeship advocacy and projects supporting young people across Somerset.

A Rising Star finalist for 2026

The Rising Star category celebrates emerging talent making a strong contribution to local business. Being shortlisted is recognition of the work I deliver as a marketer at Queen's College, Taunton, alongside the apprenticeship projects and events I have built across Somerset.

The winner will be announced live at the awards on 20 November 2026.

The work behind the recognition

My role covers email marketing, digital marketing, graphic design, content creation, event marketing, international marketing, SEO, copywriting, data analysis, photography and website management.

Outside my day job, I founded the Taunton Apprenticeship Evening, offer free apprenticeship support and share practical early-career advice online.

Three award recognitions in 2026

The Rising Star finalist announcement follows my silver Apprentice of the Year win at the Great British Business & Community Awards in Marlow. I have also been named a finalist for Excellence Through Teamwork at the Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards.

Together, these recognitions reflect both individual progression and the importance of working well with the people around me.

Why local recognition matters

Recognition from a local business awards programme matters because the work is rooted in Somerset. It highlights the opportunities available to young professionals who choose an apprenticeship and begin contributing from the start of their careers.
